ABOUT Dr. Every Woman

Dr. Wendy, aka Dr. Every Woman

Dr. Wendy Goodall McDonald, M.D. F.A.C.O.G, is the founder, an author, and the Editor-In-Chief of The Gyneco-(b)Logic. She is a Board Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist in the city of Chicago. Oh, hell, this third person foolishness is messing with me. I’ll just tell you about myself, myself. You can also get ALL OF ME on dreverywoman.com.

I was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. Yes, that makes me a White Sox fan by default, but Go Cubs Go, World Series 2016 Champs! I went to Robert A. Black Elementary for Preschool and the University of Chicago Lab Schools from Kindergarten through 12th Grade

I attended and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Xavier University of Louisiana with Bachelors of Science degree. I would have had Summa Cum Laude had it not been for that one Biology test senior year that I slacked on in my final semester. It bothers me to this day.

My greatest educational achievement came from attending Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. By greatest, by the way, I really mean most expensive. Those seemingly eternal student loans inspired this writing stage in my life. I can credit my financial debt for inspiring me to achieve something greater, while not quitting my day job. I can also praise my God in Heaven for leading me to Northwestern because it is where I met the love of my life, Dr. Ed McDonald IV, who by the way has an awesome blog himself called The Doc’s Kitchen (which I will SHAMELESSLY plug all day.)At the creation of The Gyneco-Logic, now known as The Gyneco-bLogic,

I have been married 10 years, we have 3 children and a dog. I have always loved the ability to share health knowledge and life counseling with patients in my medical office. I am excited to begin sharing with a broader audience.Thank you for your interest in The Gyneco-bLogic. I appreciate feedback and content requests. If you are looking to have personal questions answered, I invite you to make an appointment to see me in my office. HIPAA is important, but you really just don’t want all of your business in the street, or on the site. When you are full of knowledge and laughs from The Gyneco-bLogic, you can check ME out on my new website that I just finished building, the central hub for all of me, Dr. Every Woman dot com (yaaayyyy).
